Appalling service from Southend on Sea…
Appalling service from Southend on Sea post office. The people that work there really don’t give a s**t. Asked for a missed delivery to be redelivered to a local post office pick up point so I could pick up at my convenience on the way home. Received a notification to say it was ready for collection. Got there and it couldn’t be located. While standing there I got another message telling me that they were unable to deliver it as “there was no one at home”!!! It’s your post office how was there no one there!!!!!! 😡 I ordered another item the same week to be delivered to my home address, next notification I got was to say it had been delivered to my “chosen pick up point”. I didn’t request this at all for this package! Four days later and I still don’t have my items. A third item I ordered was for 24hr delivery. Why offer a service if you can’t fulfil it!? The package was “received” at the Chelmsford office three different times over two days. It only had to come thirty minutes to Southend. Despite it being “due for delivery today between x and x” I still don’t have it!!! Would’ve been better off driving there to pick it up. Shocking service. Had many issues with the Southend office in the past and on one occasion I asked the “face representing the company” on the front desk why they perform so badly and was told, directly, that “we suck at our jobs”. Avoid at all costs, if you’re offered an alternative delivery service then use it, not these incompetent morons.
