Celebrity shocker
Having taken p&o,ncl and princess cruises in the past, we were told by fellow cruisers that our cruise around europe 30 9.22 to 9.10.22 would be far superiour, with standards on Celebrity surpassing the aforementioned cruise lines. How wrong they were. Food was not replaced in the buffet unless asked for..and often there were periods when no plates were available. Most of the bars lacked waiters resulting in being sat at tables without service, or joining the crush of people at the bars trying to get a drink. The only day we got a waitress to serve us in a reasonable time was when we sat, by accident, by a ships officer (coincidence?) By the end of the cruise they had ran out of several brands of beer and all dry white and rose wine, and some brandies. We were charged excess fees for drinks that were higher than our drinks package, even though we had not had these . A call to reception removed these charges. As a final farewell gift I have just had an email charging me for mini bar drinks that I did not consume. May be our only celebrity cruise
