Is it really that difficult?
Our Irish Setter - our gorgeous lad, was insured with Purely Pets for many years, until his death aged 10yrs in 2024. Our distress at his passing was only compounded by Purely Pets refusal to accept our final claim which applied to the last month of his life but which naturally reached them after he had passed and the policy had been cancelled due to his death. After much stress this was resolved and the matter closed - or so we thought. That was 2024. We just want to thank Purely Pets for adding to our ongoing heartache by sending me an email yesterday 4th September 2025 - 1 year later, saying: "We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Finn. Please accept our condolences at this difficult time. Thank you for your claim for Finn's veterinary treatment in relation to a heart condition.... we regret that on this occasion, we are unable to complete our assessment as you cancelled the renewal of your policy on 22/07/2025." It literally took my breath away, so thank you for that Purely Pets.
