I liked the DMS course modules
I liked the DMS course modules. Some industry experts were definitely stronger than others. The modules could be more consistent in the way instructors presented and organized module content. Experts seemed to have their own methods and approach to conveying course content so learners had to continually adapt to presentation methods. I think the DMS estimated weekly time commitment for this course for learners was waaaayyyy off base. Studying for the 3 additional and required certifications (Google Search Ads, Google Analytics and HubSpot) took a lot more time to complete than indicated. I think this a serious disservice (perhaps even misleading) to participants who make a decision to take the course based on their available free time. I had to overextend myself for many weeks to successfully meet the requirements to complete the course, primarily studying for and taking the additional course certifications. The live sessions were only marginally helpful. It was nice to have some community but my guide, while nice and supportive, provided little actual extra value to the course. She was not able to advise satisfactorily on how to study for certifications or even answer specific questions on certification module coursework questions.
