Café- Disgusted…
After a nice trip bowling just popped in for a wee bite. Delighted to see rows of cheap, tasty food only for moments later to be treated disgracefully. After we reached the top of the queue (which took a long time) the rude, dismissive and impatient staff (slightly older lady with short reddish brown hair) told us and I quote ‘We’re going to stop taking orders for a while whilst I clean the dishes’ shocked we perserved. After ten more minutes for just being brutally ignored the queue was ten miles long. I couldn’t help but pass comment at the sight I was seeing. The waitress who was serving and making the food was also cleaning and loading the dishwasher full of filthy dishes- all in the same grimy gloves. The standard of hygiene was extremely poor as I could see putrid water spilling over her and the sinks which my food was on. She did this all while still ingnoring the queue which was only ever growing. My anger was bubbling. I couldn’t just stand here and let her treat paying customers like this. So we left our potential purchase on the counter and walked out hoping she gets the message. Starved we leave and take our business elsewhere (a better option) let’s just say after this disgraceful display I won’t be back, I won’t be giving you my hard earned money and certainly won’t be praising the home bargains café. If this is a sign of what home bargains has to give In the future you better just stopping now. Now… is this really how you want your shop to be perceived? I think not. My advice get rid of the rude staff and just stick to what you know!
