Application Fee & Concern of Unfair Business Practices
Had continuously been watching a property for it to be open for applications and applied within hours of the home going live online. Only to get an email the following day that it had been leased earlier that week but could use my application fee towards a different property. When I called this out in my email back, I got no response. I watched the property continue to be actively accepting applications and even moving the price of rent up and down on the property listing for MONTHS after my initial interaction. I emailed numerous times my concerns and my concerns of the morality and legality of taking applicants fees knowing the property is not available for rent with no similar options in the area, and being non responsive to even help to find a property. From my experience it seems they are scamming people out of the application fees and pocketing in. Don’t recommend even applying for their properties. Unfair business practices.
