I WOULD GIVE MINUS 1 IF POSSIBLE This has to be one of the worst company's with the worst customer service I’ve come across in my life! We purchased our home in April and set up our account's for prepay gas and electricity. There was gas arrears of over €500 from previous tenants. After months them arrears were finally cleared. Bord gais continue to take a percentage of my top ups towards debt but have no answer as to how/why I have an email thread and numerous phone calls dating back to April. I’ve provided all information they asked for. I’ve confirmed my account details on several occasions and they continue to send me around in circles. I had to chase them for months for my account to even be fully set up on their side and now I’m wasting more time being given the runaround rather than answering my emails and resolving the issue. They promised me multiple call backs and no calls were received. The customer service representatives have no answers to the questions we ask and answer with "maybe this is why" or "this could be the reason". Every email is answered by a different representative, no continuity. We have been asked to provide our last "bill amount" and "last payment method" even though we have prepay meters. AVOID AT ALL COST
