All ok, until you have a claim
This is a Gold Plus policy including natural disasters. Outbound flight was delayed due to bad weather, which resulted in missed connecting flight. Eventually arrived at destination over 24 hours late. On return, started claim process. There's a lot of documentation to provide, so it's not an easy process. Also All Clear don't handle the claim themselves, you deal with a company called Reactive Claims, whose Trustpilot star rating is 2.1. It doesn't fill you with confidence. I suspected they would wriggle out of paying and they have. The excuse is the first flight was not delayed for more than 12 hours, so despite missing over 24 hours of the holiday, compensation is not payable. I am giving All Clear the one star, rather than Reactive Claims because this is an All Clear policy and if they want to keep the current 4.8 stars, they need to work harder with claims and not pass them onto a third rate company.
