Best advice I can give is to stay away from Bord Gais Energy. Customer care service is as bad as Eir. If you need to contact them over the phone they will leave you waiting on the phone for an unlimited amount of time, every time, to the point that you either get cut off or you just realize that you are wasting a lot of your precious time because of Bord Gais. You ring again and it will happen again,they always tell you they are "currently" experiencing a high volume of call ... but that "currently" is always there, just a Always no matter when and what time you call. I know two people that worked for Bord Gais Energy -call center - ( they do not know each other) and they both told me that they were never treated well at work... so don't take your frustration to these poor guys and ladies that take your phone call, they know you too got caught with Bord Gais... It's a shame to see Irish companies getting worse by the day
