Completley let down by the company
Was onboard for the Vancouver - Alaska cruise in September. First non kid holiday for 25 yrs. Had a great 4 days then we tested COVID Pos. Ended up in our cabin for 7 days followed by another 4 days of isolation in Vancouver. It was no one's fault and the ship couldn't do enough for us. Including immediately refunding our remaining excursions. Also on Day 1 received a letter that said we would be refunded for the cruise days that we missed and majority of our post cruise isolation costs would be refunded within 7-14 days of the cruise finishing. Roll on one month later and still nothing. The contact number on the letter doesn't work. When I use other numbers I'm passed around departments from UK to USA and back again to give up being on hold after 30 mins plus. An email every week with all information attached and still no reply. Looks like their customer service before and during the trip is great, but afterwards they are not interested in honouring what I have in writing from them. A poor review won't make any difference the company will just continue on and not give a damn about us. Celebrity Cruiises has made what was going to be a great time a bad memory. Although we also paid the deposit for another cruise, we can't get it booked because we are not getting our refund.
