I purchased a RADLEY 17.5″ 40V 5 Ah…
I purchased a RADLEY 17.5″ 40V 5 Ah battery cordless lawn mower from Home Hardware online. After charging the battery overnight, I used it only once, and it ran for just over 20 minutes before the battery ran out. I returned it to my local store within a week of purchase and was told a refund will be issued, but I never received the funds. When I contacted the store, they directed me to the online ordering team. The online team refused to issue a refund and offered only to replace the batteries! They told me to contact the manufacturer and start the warranty process on a brand-new product that I bought from them. They claimed it’s their policy they don’t take “used” product back since the box was opened and product was used. This was not written on their return policy and definitely not mentioned during purchase, they don’t take any open product back. That means essentially, they don’t take any return back unless you changed your mind unopened. They don’t take brand new defective items back either! Very bad experience, instead of issuing a refund for their defective product they threatened me that I’ll be banned from buying from their online store. How ridiculous, can you imagine Home Depot or Rona or Lowes doing such thing. I wish they go bankrupt, 0 customer service and huge attitude.
