Dissapointing service – 8 month purcase process. Selling was good but purchase was difficult
I was initially recommended to use Taylor Rose by a friend, but I am disappointed that my experience did not meet expectations. Sale Process Timeline: * June 24, 2024 – Instructed Taylor Rose to handle the sale. * July 17, 2024 – Accepted an offer on the property. * December 13, 2024 – Sale finally completed (almost six months after accepting the offer). There was also a charge on the property that was not dealt with immediately. However, I had to deal with the Land registry myself to expedite the process and get the charge removed. We did not get much support from Taylor Rose in this process until it became evident Other that the selling processing was ok. Purchase Process Timeline: * July 2024 – Found a property and had our offer accepted. * February 21, 2025 – Purchase finally completed (eight-month process). As a result of these prolonged delays, we resided in an Airbnb from December 13, 2024 until end of Feb 21, 2025. This has caused unnecessary financial strain and impact. As you can see, we experienced significant delays, periods of silence, poor communication, unkept promises, and financial impact throughout this process. Nonetheless the selling process was ok. However, the buying process was difficult. There was mostly communication breakdown between Taylor rose and solicitor we were purchasing from. I would recommend looking at steps to improve that aspect.
