We booked a fly/cruise/land “package”…
We booked a fly/cruise/land “package” with My cruises. MYC 71221. Fly to Barcelona, hotel overnight. Cruise around Greece and Italy end in Ravenna. Bus from Ravenna to Venice in a hotel for 2 nights then train to Milan. 2 nights hotel then flight home. Over $9000 each for 19 days. Discovered a couple of days ago that there are no transfers! With 7 days to go we now have to look at transfers from Barcelona airport to the hotel then the next day to the port. When we get to Venice we are offloaded to a water taxi to take us to the hotel. For our train trip to Milan we have to find our own way to the station then from the station to the hotel and hotel to the airport. All at our own expense. The excuse is that they have been let down by providers so they just don’t offer transfers. If it had have been mentioned at the time of booking we would not have booked at all. When I asked why we weren’t told I was told that they are not obliged to tell you what is not included. They need to be more forthcoming about their “packages”. Every other fly/cruise/land tour that we have done we have been picked up dropped off at each location. We are a couple of 73 year old widows and the stress of this has spoilt the holiday before we have even left!
