Rude and nasty behavior
I came to the Augusta store and purchased furniture and the delivery was not delivered when I was told it was going to be delivered. I called several times to inquire about it and kept getting told I was going to receive a phone call that never happened. I called to inform the store that I wanted my money back and was met with rudeness over the phone. The store associate in a very rude manner said bye when he hung up in a very nasty tone. So I came back to the store to get a refund of my whole purchase. When I got to the store one of the store associates met me with a lot of bad attitude which was very unprofessional and unnecessary. I was sent to the counter to speak with a manager. As I was speaking with the manager, the store associate came over while I was speaking with the manager to explain what happened and rudely interrupted our conversation and I had to tell him that the store manager asked me what happened. The store manager apologized for what happened. He then asked me if I would consider coming back to the store and I told him that me coming back to purchase any furniture from this establishment would be highly unlikely. I would never shop at this store ever again. I’ve never gone to a furniture store where I have ever been treated with such rudeness and disrespect after there was an issue that they caused. When I came in to spend money to make the purchase everyone was sooooo very nice but then when an issue arose that was no fault of mine I get met with rudeness when I asked to get my money back. I’ve worked in Human Resources for over 25 years and I can tell you that is no way to treat your customers.
