Terrible stressful experience
I have had a terrible experience with Taylor Rose and my property purchase has been ongoing since February 2025. The seller has now put the property back on the market. My stress levels have been elevated for months and I stand to lose approx £3-5k in fees overall (mortgage and legal). Communication was initially good but my calls are now ignored. At the 11th hour, a fire risk assessment was requested by the mortgage lender’s solicitor, but really my conveyancer should have requested this right from the beginning to avoid this delay. I appreciate that workloads can be high and that everyone needs annual leave, but I have often found myself doing a lot of chasing and researching a lot of legal stuff that my solicitor has been unable to explain. Quite frankly I don’t know what I am paying my fees for and there is a lack of proactiveness.
