DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I've had an appalling experience. I live in the UK and ordered a houseplant for my niece's birthday. She lives in Ontario. The wrong plant was delivered on the wrong day. Canpar left the plant outside in minus 20 degrees surrounded by snow, and didn't even ring the doorbell, so no-one knew the plant was out there, with the obvious resulting damage. My niece was too embarrassed to tell me that my birthday gift was, effectively, a dead houseplant. When I found out, I contacted Hazeltons and asked for a replacement or refund. They have refused both and are hiding behind their small print saying I should have reported the state of the plant within 24 hours, despite my not being aware. They are not holding Canpar to account but instead have refused to look after their customer. They also won't deal with the fact that they delivered the wrong plant on the wrong day. Abysmal customer service. Please warn your friends.
