Malta Uncovered Solo
Just returned from my first Solo holiday with Riviera Travel. My fellow travellers were a great group and Elena our Tour Manager was brilliant and provided daily schedule updates. Grace the local guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The itinerary was busy with interesting excursions and a good balance of free time. All of the hotel staff were friendly and polite especially Marijoe in the buffet restaurant who always met everyone with a smile. The bedroom had a comfortable bed and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There was a fridge, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, TV and a safe (no charge) in the room. My room was on the opposite side of the road that was entered through an underground tunnel or by crossing the road, I did find this confusing at the beginning. The breakfast and evening meals were tasty, especially the salads. A glass of wine and bottled still/sparkling water was served with the evening meal. The nearest beach was approx a 20 minute walk but would take longer on the way back as it was quite hilly, there was a bus stop near the hotel with buses running regularly. I will definitely book another Solo holiday with Riviera and highly recommend it.
