Try local council first
I took my little one to water babies when she was 7 week old. We missed the first session in the block so started on week 2. Part of the session was to splash your baby in the face, she didn't like this and got quite upset so the instructor advised not to dunk her under water. On our second week I was told to dunk my baby and she absolutely hated it, she was heartbroken, this in turn made me upset. At the end of that class we were told that the following week we would be teaching the babies how to hold on to the side which I thought my baby was too young for. I didn't return to the classes as the thought of how upset my baby got made me so anxious. Nobody from water babies contacted me in any way. I think they're just money orientated. They do not have age restrictions on the classes and I believe this is just so they can make as much money as possible. My baby is 5 months old and now goes to swim tots at the local council baths for £2.30 a session and she loves it. Other babies in the class seemed OK but I would advise to try local council pool first to see if your baby is ready for the water then you won't have wasted all that money.
