Only because I cannot give zero stars
**Edit** After Bord Gais responded to my message here and invited me to get back in touch with them, I did. And was swiftly sent another stock email giving them another ten days to respond. It is now over ten working days since this I received this reply and I have heard absolutely nothing. Minus another 10 stars** Only because I cannot give zero stars. Moved out of a property in February with over 2k in account credit. Submitted meter readings as requested online. Bord Gais then refused to pay back the credit and keep changing the reason why. First it was that I did not submit a photograph of the meter with me holding the daily newspaper on the day I moved out (I am one person, ground level meter and poor access to do this). I then submitted a photo of the meter taken by the landlord (had a date stamp on it). This was refused. Six calls later to different members of the team and various promises to pay the credit back have all failed. Infuriating. The team on the phone even suggested doctoring images already sent which I have refused to do. Phone operators do not seem to have any problem solving or critical thinking skills, it is just 'computer says no' and pass you on to the another department. We are now at the end of June and they still refuse to pay back my money.
