Scammers. They'll push the fare up
Scammers! They phoned me when I was half way through the booking process to offer assistance, offering to put a hold on the seats (which I declined). When I then went to purchase the seats on their site, I found there were none available. I believe this is because they put a hold on the last seats so I couldn't buy them anywhere else (including the airline directly). When I phoned up they offered to sell them me for a higher price, higher than it would have been directly with the airline before they put the hold on the seats! It seems this was an attempt by Crystal Travel to just put a hold on the cheapest seats to push the price up elsewhere and encourage me to purchase with them at an inflated price, but they messed up and put a hold on all the remaining seats in that class, so there were no seats available anywhere else (including directly with the airline), but miraculously they still had availability of seats they could sell me! Stay calm! I waited a couple of hours and their hold had been released, and I could buy the tickets with a more reputable travel agent.
