Quick, clear but would like better paperwork

I used Carrental.co.uk recently for car hire in the Balkans. I found the site easy to use: clear and quick and booked my car through it at a good price. I particularly like being able to book the car and insurance (including excess cover) on one site at a good price. I booked with a local, though large supplier, rather than a global provider. This is important to me. Incidentally I’ve found car hire in the Balkans to be amongst the most efficient and relaxed I have experienced - I’ve taken 4/5 trips there now. I had 2 issues: - the resulting paperwork wasn't clear on the degree of insurance cover I had, so when I was looking for self-reassurance at the time of collecting the car (when offered extra insurance at pick-up) I had a moment of anxiety; - despite pricing for extra driver, when I purchased that wasn't included and that had to be booked direct with the car rental. Overall, I'd certainly look at Carrentals.co.uk again; although it's worth remembering that not all companies use this comparison site.
