Bitterly disappointed by Celebrity and Iglu
Bitterly disappointed by the attitude of Celebrity with our recent cruise booking via Iglu, although I acknowledge a derisory offer of a £100 discount from Iglu in consideration of our complaint. At the time of booking we weren't advised that the particular Celebrity terms and conditions effectively limited our ability to make any amendment beyond an expensive upgrade. Although we expressed our concern within a day of booking, a succession of agents passed our query back and forth with no promised callbacks prior to our raising a complaint. There was no real advocacy on our behalf and I found both Iglu and Celebrity intransigent and opaque. Although we've had a positive experience with the latter before, this has been profoundly disappointing and unexpectedly expensive to resolve. We would therefore advise caution.
