CROOKS!!
CROOKS!!! We paid Irish water €2,300 6 months ago to do our new build water connect. Irish water said they supplied the area and we paid in full. We booked Irish water in for the job 4 weeks before our builder needed the connect. Irish water arrived on site and informed me they didn’t supply the area. The told me to get my payment refunded and get another company to do the work. In a panic I had to outsource the work as my builder needed the connect. Farce of a company. Not only did they put us in an extremely stressful and unfair position they have not given us our refund back. I have communicated multiple times and keep getting the same response “we will send your query to the correct department now” then silence. Irish water did the same thing to one of my new neighbours last year. They too are still waiting on payment. When will I receive my refund???
