Terrible Experience Since Management Change
I have been living in this home since 2022, and things were fine initially. However, when Darwin Homes took over in the second year, everything went downhill. Communication is practically nonexistent. I’ve sent multiple emails and made phone calls over the past two weeks about an unjust charge for a gate latch I never requested—and the latch wasn’t even broken. I have received no response at all. On top of that, Darwin charges for nearly everything, often without notice or justification. We also constantly receive HOA violations for exterior maintenance issues like fading shutters or peeling paint—things that should clearly be the responsibility of the property owner or management, not the tenant. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. If you’re considering renting a property managed by Darwin Homes, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. They do not prioritize tenant communication or accountability.
