So far so good
So far so good. I uploaded about 600GB to iDrive backup from my main PC desktop computer and due to my ISP, Spectrum, I experienced a glacial upload speed of 12MB. Not surprisingly, this initial upload to iDrive took over 4 days. I was reluctant to try sending a drive to them to kick things off, so I hung in there and it did work, despite Spectrum. The UI is good and I tried a small test restore which was easy too. I added a smaller backup of my laptop too, no problem. I plan on using iDrive for file storage too at some point. Hope this becomes a long-term solution as the software seems OK and the 5TB space is generous.
