Darwin Homes is miserable to work with. I'm trying to go on every platform I can to make sure people are informed as to their practices and lack of customer service prior to deciding to rent from them. Recently, I was provided a lease renewal proposal that included Darwin Homes moving the utilities for the house out of my name, into theirs, and charging me a "setup fee" as well as a "monthly convenience fee" to pay for the utilities I'm already paying for. Additionally, Darwin Homes requires a tenant pay $120 / year for quarterly air filters (which I've only received 2 in the past year) shipped to your home. These aren't customer centric benefits that are solely based on extracting as much money as possible from tenants. The above items and a lack of responses to service requests make Darwin Homes one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.
