Unethical practice at Joining stage!
I began the process of ordering broadband from this company and completed the online form, including entering my Direct Debit details. However, before the final stage, I was required to read and accept the Terms & Conditions in order to complete the order. After carefully reading the T&Cs, I was unhappy with the multiple price increases outlined (including several within the first year). As a result, I did not accept the T&Cs and did not complete the order, and I exited the website. Despite this, I later received a “no-reply” email confirming my order, which was very concerning given that I had not agreed to the terms or completed the checkout process. I contacted the company immediately via their WhatsApp support service to explain the situation. After sending my message, the conversation ended and I received no further response. I have emailed their sales team but have had no response. Due to this lack of communication and the fact that an order appeared to be processed without my agreement to the T&Cs, I cancelled the Direct Debit with my bank. I find this practice unethical and concerning, and it has completely undermined my trust in the company. I have tried re-sending emails to their sales team and still no response! I would urge others to read the Terms & Conditions carefully and monitor the checkout process closely.
