Been a customer with them for 3 years …shown zero loyalty
Andrea Kerr Been a customer with them for 3 years now but now really dissaponted to receive a letter stating they now cannot cover me due to a change in underwriting criteria!! Which is of course nonsense!! 45 year old female with 8 years NCB and a clean license driving a BMW 330Ci. At the renewal of this policy last year Sky insurance left me with no cover due to what they said was an admin error, I was stopped and nearly lost ,my car but thankfully the police were great. Initially when I git on to Sky the complaint was handled shabbily at best BUT in fairness was remedied to my satisfaction after much back and forth, they refunded me the commission they'de made. Maybe then its me who is thinking they wont cover me because of this at renewal and are blaming underwriters, however they wont allow me the details of the underwriters so I can confirm this with them as they underwrite for another company apparently who will cover me which I find a bit odd. Anyway wont touch them even if they change their minds if this is how they reward loyalty, what I will be doing though is a bit of digging about to determine truth and having a chat with the ombudsman UPDATE 07/07/7 ============= They RE NOW REFUSING TO SEND US PROOF OF NO CLAIMS, AND REGARDING THE REPLY, my car is a performance car lol, Ive also seen evidence with as has my solicitor with regards to your "panel of underwriters changing criteria" and you are lying, this is sky insurance's choice to refuse cover and is a DIRECT result of us complaining, maybe you should be very careful as to who you send you internal emails to when discussing things with your managers :) We wil be in touch as indicated in my email today we will be in touch via the press, solicitor and ombudsman!!!
