Bait and Switch - Volatile Policy Changes
For 18 months, I have paid $100 towards my membership to inCruises. My sponsor told me and showed me on the inCruises website that I could be refunded the full amount we put in if we were ever dissatisfied. It turns out that inCruises changes its policies without notice and as it sees fit to ensure you never get your money back. Also, they have a 'price match' guarantee which is pure robbery. A typical cruise is priced at a per-occupant rate, but they sell it to you at an inflated price and on a per-room basis. There is never a comparison they have to honor. Do you see the bait and switch? Now I'm stuck with 1800 points that I can use no more than 20% per reservation on a hotel room. My advice is to open a high-yield savings account and consider that your travel bucket.
