Good... but not perfect!
We have just booked a once in a lifetime safari to Kenya for 2026. One of the items in the description on the website is an opportunity to upgrade the booking to experience a night in a tent in the Masaai Mara game reserve. Fantastic! But to do this you need to phone Riviera after making your booking for the main holiday. However, when we tried to upgrade we were told there is no availability for this extra even though our safari is a year away. So shouldn't it be taken out of the web description once Riviera know there is no capacity left? Just for the record, after posting this review Riviera got in touch with me and said I had been misinformed about availability for 2026 - obviously a minor training issue. But they took the trouble to get in touch directly and sort it out. Thank you Sue B! I have put my review up to five stars as I always think it is how a company reacts when things go a bit astray that shows what they are worth.
