Never again - Continual misinformation and excuses

Never again! After spending a substantial amount of money booking through mycruises for our family holiday in 4 weeks, the experience dealing with this company has put a dampener on it before it has even began. Firstly when we booked over a year ago, we were told that we would receive all our hotel information approximately 3 months before our trip. That never happened and while it made it hard to book confirmed transfers and tours, we were patient. At 8 weeks when we still hadn't heard, we were given a barrel of excuses about world issues and other cruises being cancelled blah blah blah. We were frustrated but gave them the benefit of the doubt. My son-in-law and myself have called regularly in the subsequent weeks to be told it should be "any day" now as they are finalising the group bookings. We are now 4 weeks out (the minimum time we were told by the after sales team we would receive our hotel information) and still haven't heard. I want to add I give 1 star because up until now the customer service people have been very polite (8/3/24 call logged with Elise was the only agent we have had who really tried to do something and made more effort than other agents but still to no positive outcome) and that's when it became quite apparent they have no control over anything at all. Nothing they do would impact the outcome as they are simply cogs in the wheel of lies. Just given the corporate rhetoric to spew to us insignificant people (they already have our money, why bother upping the customer service game) But this morning when I rang, I had the rudest customer service agent "Mike" speak down to me and give me attitude simply because I have the audacity to be cranky about the situation. He even told me I should feel lucky because people flying out next week don't have their information yet!!!!!! like WTH!! how are these people still in business!! So now it seems the 3 months was a lie, the 4-8 weeks was a lie and now we have to come to terms with the fact we won't get information until the week we fly out! It simply is not good enough. They continue to blame everyone else (the world events, the suppliers etc) instead of taking accountability for their poor travel management. We were planning another large vacation next year with even more of our immediate family with one of their packages. It would have been $80-100k sale for them, but after how this is going, I think we will just go back to our other travel agent. MYC-39885 and MYC-39831
