Superbikes Factory, Donington: Part exchanged my motorcycle at for a new one. 1.5hrs after deciding on the bike, they accepted the exchange and I paid the balance. All good up to that point. Informed handover of bikes would be 11am. They took a further hour checking my bike over before finally accepting the exchange. After being there an hour, I had to wait for the sales man to complete handing over to another customer before I could finally get my handover complete. Another 1.5hrs later, on near completion of my handover, I mentioned, I needed to tax it as it was being ridden back to my business premises. Was unable to take the bike as it showed up as no MOT. Sales person stated, I could wait for it to be MOT but this could be a further hour. All the time, my business was closed while I had been waiting. Plan was then to be picked up the following morning. Went over and finally collected the bike with a full 12months MOT. To find when I returned to the business premises and my mechanic looked over the bike, the exhaust was missing a bracket rendering it loose. Also a basic check for a bike: Oil level was left on minimum. Poor experience and waiting times far too long. Poor quality of MOT. Bikes allowed to be sent out in poor condition. As a business who relies on the bikes to be to test standard, I will think twice about using them again.
