Weeks of Failed Visits, Now Out of Pocket and Without Appliance

I paid Pacifica £159 for a quoted repair of my washer dryer, which was still usable (just a glitchy screen). After multiple failed engineer visits over more than six weeks — with incorrect parts and delays — the machine was left completely unusable. I made it clear I did not want more visits, yet appointments continued to be booked against my wishes. I had no choice but to buy a new washer dryer at my own expense. Despite this, Pacifica only offered a partial refund under their terms, which is not acceptable given the service left me worse off than before. I have now escalated the matter through my credit card provider under Section 75 and will pursue a claim in the Small Claims Court if necessary. In my experience: wasted time, repeated failures, and no fair resolution. I would strongly caution others before using Pacifica.
