Cool, cold and shivery
Unfortunately, I have not been able to use the mattress because the bed I ordered for the mattress has not been delivered by the retailer. It's out of stock at the moment but hopefully it will be delivered late January, which I wish I was told at time of purchase. Disappointing, but I will return to this review when I start using the mattress in the new year. This concludes my review. Our bed was finally delivered to us on January 31. We started sleeping on the mattress from the beginning of February. Once rolled out, the mattress was fully formed and reached its full shape in no time. Surprisingly, there was no off-gassing factory smell. Our first night on the mattress was great. We had a comfortable night. However, things have progressively got worse ever since. Unlike my other memory foam mattress, which is very warm and cosy in winter, this mattress is just the opposite. It’s cool and cold, possibly due to the breathable properties in the mattress. So, we had to wear extra layer of clothing to keep warm in bed under the duvet. Succeeding nights got colder and colder, and shivery. This had never happened to us before, particularly me, that I had to wear my winter coat in bed to survive the night. Also, after a couple of nights on the mattress, we began to feel back and shoulder pain after coming out of bed in the morning. The feel of the mattress shows there is a good chance of a crater forming around our body contours over time. We’ve only spent 7 nights on the mattress so far and things are not looking good at all. Therefore, for the sake of our wellbeing, we have decided to be sleeping for the time being in our guest room bed, with the supreme memory foam mattress . We have no alternative but to return the mattress.
