IMPORTANT FOR READERS

IMPORTANT FOR READERS: Their responses to everyone regarding this specific situation have been lies. This “store policy” of limits on booster bundles was NOT there when I placed my order back in November 2024. Gaslighting your customers is actually crazy. If there ACTUALLY was a limit, you would not be able to add more than one to your basket, let alone check out and pay. And them claiming to make the stock available at MSRP at their gaming centre like they’re some sort of saviour is funny. If they do end up doing this, it’s likely just to save face after the backlash. If that’s the case, why was the same item on your website marked up recently? And why are you selling individual packs on whatnot for £8.95? Onto my story: Placed a preorder well over 5 months ago, which included 4 Pokemon Prismatic Booster Bundles. £23.95 each. Last month, my order was fulfilled but with only one of the four items - saying only “some of your items have shipped”. No mention of cancellation or anything. Fast forward, today I receive an email that saying those extra items have been refunded - a whole 5 months after placing the preorder and a month after the release date of those specific items. Their reasoning was “product limit of one per cutomer”. This is completely untrue as there was no limit at the time and they sold the same item for a marked up price on their website just a couple weeks back. They’re using this excuse as they see the product is sought after and don’t want to sell for retail price. Scalper behaviour. The recent boom in Pokemon has shown which retailers actually value their customers and which ones take advantage of them. I will not be returning even if they sell these products at MSRP again as this experience has shown me they’re no different to scalpers.
