Firstly, I was charged $219 by FinalRentals.com for the full rental amount, even though I was assured that the deposit would only be handled through the car rental location. However, upon arrival, the car rental agency charged my card an additional $310 for the full rental amount again. When I arrived at the car rental location, any issues I faced were completely ignored since I booked through FinalRentals.com, an external party. Despite confirming my booking for a specific vehicle, my reservation was not honored at the location. The car rental agency claimed they would only hold my card information for the deposit, yet I was charged twice for the same rental—once through FinalRentals.com and another time directly by the car rental location. Now, I have two rental agreements from two separate entities for one vehicle rental. This lack of communication between FinalRentals.com and Easeway Car Agency is unacceptable. The fact that they are freely passing on my card information to charge me twice is outrageous. When I attempted to resolve the issue, I was met with unhelpful responses. Messages sent to customer service resulted in delayed replies with no actual resolution. Overall, my experience with FinalRentals.com and Easeway Car Agency was frustrating and unsatisfactory. I would caution others to avoid using their services to prevent similar issues. UPDATE: 07/30 Finalrentals has addressed and resolved this situation. I appreciate their efforts to rectify the matter and commend their commitment to customer satisfaction.
