Miserable experience
My experience with Sarah Joy, in the Basildon office, was truly miserable. Her unwillingness to communicate, lack of empathy for the stress involved in the conveyancing process, her absence of any sense of urgency and her reluctance to move things forward on her client’s behalf made for a horrible move. Despite endless reminder emails and phone calls about the removal date the chain of 3 had agreed on, we ended up exchanging and completing on the same day. The people at the bottom of the chain were kind enough to allow my buyers to remain in the home they had sold for an additional night, as their removal company weren’t able to wait any longer on the day for completion. Sarah Joy will say she only responds if she has information to give, she will take no responsibility for any delays and she will blame others for the holdup. No doubt any response to this review will point the finger at myself, the other conveyancers or the estate agent but my advice would be to avoid this particular office and conveyancer and find someone who takes some pride in the service they offer and genuinely cares about the clients they are acting for.
