Really comfortable cruise
Really comfortable cruise. Before leaving we were a bit concerned that Iona would be "Too big" and all those passengers! However, after everyone had boarded and settled, there was no crowding and we were amazed at how everyone had dispersed over the ship, so no crowding at all. In fact, we were amazed that people we chatted to, we generally never saw again, so we were definitely not under each others feet. This was our first cruise, so we went to Norway for 7 days in case we "didn't like it" and to understand "what cruising is all about", we need not have worried - we "loved it". Iona is a lovely ship, very clean, we had a spacious balcony cabin. We took a couple of dinners on "shared tables" it was great to hear people talk about where they have been, where they live. Everyone on a cruise is very chatty if you smile and say hello - it was really nice. Norway - such views, so clean and tranquil, we will go again at some point as many other ports of call to consider.
