Southern Sights and Sounds

This was our third tour with Titan and like the previous two, this trip to the Deep South of the USA, was fantastic. We saw and did so much and although there is quite a bit of travelling and it can get tiring, it is the only way to get around as many places as we did. From going to the Grand Ole Opry to taking a trip to a bayou and seeing alligators, going down the Mississippi in a steamboat to visiting Graceland, it's hard to pick a stand out moment. We had so much fun and our fellow travellers were a fantastic group of people to share it all with. The only downside was our flight getting cancelled in Atlanta coming home due to a storm. Not Titan's fault but it did add some last minute stress to proceedings. We did finally get home 24 hours later than planned. A big thank you goes to Rozie, our tour manager. She truly was amazing, so organised, full of information about the places and sites we saw, great fun and really helped make the trip such a success. And also our driver Jan, she was such a professional, getting us around safely and navigating the coach brilliantly in sometimes tricky conditions. Again, she was great fun, helpful and well prepared, even having rain ponchos for those of us without waterproof coats. A thank you too to both drivers who took us to and from Heathrow. They were both professional, friendly and got us there and back in good time. Thanks again for such a lovely holiday and hopefully we'll be booking a fourth tour with Titan before long.
