We used Streets Ahead to sell our home…

We used Streets Ahead to sell our home in South Norwood. The initial sales tactic that was suggested did not work, but the house was sold (a little later than we'd initially been led to believe was likely). The price achieved was within the range that Streets Ahead had estimated. We had chosen Streets Ahead because of the separate sales progression service. However, once we sold it turned-out that they did not seem to have a dedicated sales progressor at the branch. So it felt like I was doing a lot of the work I had assumed the sales progressor would be doing. To make things worse, the main agent dealing with us then left with almost no warning or handover. Our sale went very slowly - it turned-out this was because our buyer was not in a hurry and not engaging. It took a long time for me to realise this and I solved the situation by threatening to pull-out, to force our buyer to start taking action. If Streets Ahead had been a better agent they would have realised the situation earlier and solved it for me, making our move happen earlier and saving me a lot of stress. Overall, I was disappointed with Streets Ahead compared to the service I thought I was going to get. But you could probably do worse - they did get the house sold at a fair price.
