Great Tool for Getting Results!!!
I had an issue with Expedia where they billed me for a hotel room at which my wife and I never stayed. I had made a reservation for our anniversary, got a confirmation from Expedia only to have them tell me there were no rooms available for our date about two hours later. I took it in stride and made other plans. Needless to say I was in disbelief when they charged my credit card. I waited a couple of weeks to see if the charges would be reversed, but the never were. I contacted both my credit card company and Expedia but to no avail. The charges stood. I started investigating taking Expedia to Small Claims Court here in Florida when I came across People Clerk via a web search. This was about a month ago; three months after I booked the room. I came across the tool on the site to create a Demand Letter to send to Expedia. This is the first step they recommend before taking someone to court, by giving them a final chance to reconcile the issue. I filled out the details of my issue as instructed, and provided (uploaded) copies of the emails I had saved from my correspondence to/from Expedia. The portal lead you through the whole process and in a minute or so I had a perfectly crafted Demand Letter to send to Expedia. I opted to have PC Fedex the letter to them for a small fee and I didn't have to do anything else. PC kept in contact the whole time afterwards with reminders, next steps, etc. Lo and behold I got a email yesterday from Expedia informing me they made a mistake; they apologized, and refunded my money, plus gave me an additional $75 credit for a future stay. Amazing!! I could not be happier with this People Clerk. Check them out if you have a situation similar to mine.
