A steep learning curve but it got easier and overall it was a positive experience
It was very good to have a link to a video as I watched it 3 times and took notes on the second viewing. My notes were invaluable. Being told how everything worked would have been much less useful as I'd have forgotten a lot of it. You should keep using the video once Covid restrictions preventing a face to face handover are relaxed. I was on a very steep learning curve and having to drive such a large vehicle and get used to so many different things was quite stressful at first. However, it got much easier as the week progressed and everything became more familiar. Overall it was a positive experience and I am now looking to buy my own mobile home. Positives: much easier to drive than I had expected/the loo emptying wasn't as awful as I'd expected!/plenty of storage space/very warm inside. Negatives: the hose didn't have the right connector piece at the end to fit onto campsite taps and I had to get one from the first campsite/the hose needed to be a lot longer to reach taps on campsites/a reel for the electricity cable would have been useful as I always ended up with a tangled mess/the mattress moved forward when I was driving about and it was very heavy to move back again in a confined space (and I was on my own) - some way to keep it in place on the base of the bed would be good.
