HINDSIGHT IS A WONDERFUL THING
EYG asked us for a review could not gain access to their document so here is our review. Although placing the order for facias and soffits during covid we were told it would take four to six weeks in fact it took over a year. The survey alone took three months Communications between EYG and ourselves was very poor, ie: phone calls not returned, promises made but not delivered, ect, ect. After 9 months sub-contract fitters arrived to fit facias and soffits.whilst doing the work they damaged the window frame and glass. Which we had to find out ourselves as they failed to notify us at the time. Although they repaired the frame and the two paynes of glass unfortunately the glass is of greenhouse quality at the slightest drop in temperature they are covered in condensation. We now wished we had kept the damaged glass although 15 years old it was by far superior quality. We would also have appreciated being told about the loose slates rather than finding them in the gutter and on our driveway. Had to refit some of the downpipes to a better standard. We take no pleasure in writing this. Why can't we ever get to write a five star review for these home improvement companies who come to do work at our home?
