Unbelievably incompetent service
Unbelievably incompetent service, unacceptable misinformation and extended delays. No sense of urgency from our solicitor, nothing was ready in time for completion, which was ultimately very delayed. Constantly told we would complete on dates that did not happen. Emails generally ignored. Had to phone daily for anything to be actioned at all, received documents to sign containing serious errors the solicitors hadn’t noticed, and were also regularly asked to resend things we had already provided. Once deposit was finally sent, solicitor telephoned the following day claiming (in error) a nearly 5 figure shortfall which sent us into a huge unnecessary panic until she found the money was there all along… Despite this she still promised to send money to the sellers to complete immediately and then didn’t send it until our estate agents chased her up 24 hours later! I am still awaiting a response to my complaint to their ‘customer care’ team.
