***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*** ***THEY RIP YOU OFF BY INSERTING HIDDEN ADD-ONS, WHICH YOU DON'T NEED*** I (my family) have used onlinetxdefensivedrivingcourse.com for about the 10 years for the SOLE purpose of receiving an insurance discount. The on-line class is easy to navigate through and complete. My wife signed up for the class on January 10, 2026, and paid $28. My wife completed the class on January 25, 2026. On February 3, 2026, a $9.95 charge to our credit card was applied by the company for some kind of "subscription" service from the company. Unbeknownst to my wife, she had no idea she signed up for this needless service from the company. Initially, when one signs up for the class, they are driven through multiple attempts to get you to sign-up for additional items that you don't need. One example is the expedited mail service. They try to convince you that it can take up to 30 days to get your certificate mailed to your house. I/we, will never use this on-line company again. They are a rip-off. I filled out the on-line form requesting that our $9.95 be reversed. Never heard back from them. My wife called the company and they simply removed us from the monthly subscription service. I do not recommend this company. They use deceptive business practices and I plan on contacting multiple agencies, including the FTC, do complain.
