Superb experience with M/Y Amorena and Good experience with Titan
Outstanding cruise on the Amorena. What made it 5*? The first class professional and personable tour manager Bobby. He is the Best of the Best. He modelled service excellence at all levels and was outstanding end to end. The crew were also attentive, friendly and competent. A great group of professionals who actually cared about the passengers. Uros was just fantastic. He was very attentive and sensitive to my dietary requirements. Superbly professional. They chefs were great as they endeavoured to prepare food I could eat. The vessel itself was immaculately clean and all the crew ensured highest standard on Health and Safety. I would rarely say I would repeat a trip but I make an exception this time. In a heart beat, I would do this trip again for the awesome scenery and also knowing the standard of Bobby and the crew. First class! As for Titan as a company - Good experience with Titan. Drivers arrived on time every time. Were very professional. We wondered though why they had us stay over in Gatwick for one night on outward journey but on the way back left us with a very tight schedule between transfer from Gatwick to Heathrow on a Bank Holiday weekend. Thanks to wonderful drivers, we got there timely! Titan are reliable as a company. My suggestion for improvement is their back office administration. It needs end to end process improvement. They totally confused my dietary requirements - even I couldn’t work out what they published on the itinerary!! And though there was a change in my travelling companion, the change did not get through fully to the drivers. The person who had to cancel was still on the drivers board at Gatwick. The replacement companion seemed then to become the “lead person for contact”. The improvement in back office administration needs to be timely before it impacts on the other positive dimensions of Titan. Finally well done to M/Y Amorena and Bobby, Uros and crew for making such a memorable trip - unforgettable!
