Fantastic cloud backup service, selective sync does not yet work the way we'd need it to
After trying a few different backup systems, we settled on IDrive to back up our laboratory instruments and are very happy with it - it's reliable and the ability to back up specific folders from each computer is exactly what we were looking for. We don't use the sync feature much yet because we need the selective sync to work slightly differently. At the moment, IDrive-sync's selective sync automatically includes newly created folders that are added to the synced drive and downloads them to all devices. This is problematic for us as each time we need to manually go back to each device and deselect new folders in the selective sync. This would be an even better product if there was a way to set up the selective sync such that new folders are automatically excluded instead of included.
