Fire Alarm been going off for a week
We've been living in Altrincham renting from Thornley Groves for nearly two years now and never really had a problem until last week when the fire alarms starting going off for no reason and all the emergency windows locked opened. Reported the problem via the website and got informed it would be looked into within 24 hours. Almost 8 days later and we still waiting for someone to turn up to fix the problem despite constantly ringing, emailing and even going into the office. In those 8 days the house has been freezing cold and the last couple of days it's starting raining so the carpets are soaked. Does anyone know a good lawyer who can help us with gross negligence? Truly awful experience and we'll be leaving as soon as we can. Would not recommend.
