Still waiting for my money after THEIR mistake
I bought a pair of shoes from Sport It First on the Decathlon marketplace, and the experience has been a nightmare from start to finish. Wrong size sent • I ordered a UK 7, but they shipped a UK 7.5. • I reported the mistake the same day. Endless waiting & zero communication • Customer service promised an update within three business days. • It’s now more than five business days later—no emails, no calls, nothing. Exchange? Not possible • The chat agent told me they can exchange the item, so my only option was to return the shoes for a refund. Refund nowhere to be seen • I returned the shoes almost a week and a half ago using their own label. • Tracking shows they were delivered to their warehouse on 7 May, and I have uploaded proof of delivery. This whole ordeal was caused by their original error, yet I’m the one chasing them for a basic refund. If this is how Decathlon lets its marketplace partners treat customers, shopping here online feels pretty unsafe. Until Sport It First (or Decathlon) processes my refund and issues an apology, I can’t recommend them to anyone. Buy elsewhere—or at least be prepared for a long, silent wait if something goes wrong.
