Don't believe Celebrity Cruise agents…
Don't believe Celebrity Cruise agents when they tell you the deposit is risk free and fully refundable until payment is made in full. After they take the deposit, they issue a Booking Confirmation document that indicates the deposit is Non refundable. After calling back Celebrity Cruise and we confirmed that the deposit was refundable, we had to cancel the cruise several days later. No refund was allowed. I asked for a copy of the voice recordings and they were unwilling to share with me. I am hoping by sharing this story with Trustpilot and news networks that I can shine a light on this unethical practice of collecting a deposit and being told it is refundable after they collect it.
